Super Bowl Sunday in Houston!

Are You Ready For Some Football?

That's right Super Bowl XLIV is just around the corner!  And we have a "bowl" full of raving fans with us, unfortunately some family's like Jack and Penny are not seeing eye to eye on who the real champ is out of this years big game.  Who will it be Jacks New Orleans Super Saints or Penny's Indianapolis Crazy Colts?  I guess they'll have to see if they can get the game on in their Vacation Villa.  Fortunately other guests are just as crazy about the commercials and the half time show like Hershey, Ollie and Mulligan! 

Then again, what's more fun than sitting around, a bowl full of "pup"corn with a bunch of your favorite friends!  Jessie and Maggie were all about snuggling up and relaxing for a bit,  having been out in this great weather we had this weekend a nice nap might just do the trick.....but hurry up the game's almost on!!

Employee of the Week!

Hi, My name is Diana.  Im this week's highlighted employee!

I'm proud to say I have 3 sons and now a total of 3 granddaughters!  I have been with the company all together for about 10 years.  I can do almost anything here, I started off as a playtimer but now I guess my official title is Customer Service Representative.  All my life I have loved animals, when I was growing up I had 3 Chows, 12 cats, 2 ducks, 2 parakeets, 2 rabbits and a goat!  Just something about those babies I love, maybe it's the kisses!  Every time I come in I look forward seeing these special babies.

This is Tiffany; she is a red Shiba Inu. Like me, Tiffany has been coming here for years, she is 15 years young!  Like most old ladies she is very sweet and loving, but when she has had enough she will let you know!  She has been my sweetheart for 10 years now, and it's always so special when she comes in to visit me.  Her parents are also very sweet and are very welcoming, they make you feel like you are a part of their family.  And in a way Tiffany is apart of ours here at Best Friends.

Employee Of The Week!

Hey, my name is Miguel but my friends call me Mike and I'm the Employee of the Week! 



I have been with Best Friends for almost a year now; my job title is the Play Timer.  I'm also a certified Doggie Day Camp Counselor.  Some say I'm the guest's favorite person because it's my job to play, cuddle and entertain them!  Giving them delicious suite treats, ice cream breaks and other goodies are also hand made by me!  I have an associate's degree in liberal arts, criminal justice, and political science.  I'm working on obtaining my bachelor's degree in law, criminal justice, and entering the police academy.  I have many accomplishments and skills that I have acquired.  I'm an Eagle Scout with gold, silver and bronze meddles.  I have also traveled the world with the Boy Scouts.  As well as being a Free Mason and belong to Temple Lodge #4 AF+AM.  I can play many instruments and love to work on cars. 

My favorite buddy at Best Friends has to be Mocha.  She is the sweetest Chocolate Lab in the world.  She is super energetic and love's to be pet and hugged, and plenty of belly rubs.  I love how Mocha is very calm and sweet in her Vacation Villa, but when she gets out side she becomes the fun, energetic, and hilarious lab that she is.  She loves to play with me and when its time to go in she looks up at me with those sweet eyes begging to stay out and play for just a little longer.  It's hard to resist the "Big Ole Chocolate Lady"!!
